Medford and Central Point share the southern border and the latter is a part of the Medford Metropolitan Area. Beaverton is located at a distance of seven miles west of downtown Portland. This city lies in the Tualatin River Valley in Washington County. Its population stands at about 97,861 with an unemployment rate of 4.7%. Affordability in the city is pretty tough, but other factors like diversity, education, housing, jobs and amenities are excellent.
